Quick links:

• The mailing list - please ask any outstanding questions there.
• The RoboCupRescue Robot League main site - the version of the competition that is aimed at university research students (although anyone can enter).
• Updated Team Description Materials from previous years. This is a great place for new teams to start, to see how other teams built their robots!

How to Participate - 2025 World Championship:

• The current version of the rules and arena construction guide. (This is unchanged from 2023 and 2024.)
• The 2025 World Championship main site (including logistics info).

Timeline and Instructions:

Friday 28th of February, Optional (but highly recommended) Team Participation Form (TPF) due.

Friday 28th of March, Qualification Team Description Paper (TDM) due.

• This is compulsory and used to determine if you qualify.
• See the rules (linked above), under “Competition Logistics and Procedures”, for details of what to include.
• This is submitted by emailing it to the public mailing list.
• Teams may also qualify through Regional Open competitions (which may occur after this date). Note that these Regional Opens must be officially recognized by the RoboCup Federation.
• Teams may also qualify by performing well in the previous World Championship (although still submit at least your team’s biographical info and any updates from your previous entry by this deadline).

Friday 18th of April, Notification of Qualification.

• This will be published to the public mailing list.
